Dear Marc,

As you prepare to turn the page on an extraordinary career at CAE, I reflect on the remarkable journey we’ve shared as industry peers and friends. For years, we’ve navigated the highs and lows of the aerospace and aviation world, sometimes collaborating to push the industry forward, sometimes sparring as fierce competitors. Through it all, your leadership, vision, and unrelenting passion for excellence have left an indelible mark not just on CAE, but on all of us fortunate enough to cross paths with you.

I’ll always cherish the moments we spent together, whether strategizing over the future of aviation, trading friendly jabs about whose company had the edge, or bonding over our love for a good meal and the thrill of competition – in business or in the range. Your ability to balance fierce determination with genuine warmth made all these interactions a joy, and I’m grateful for the friendship we’ve built over the years.

As you step into this next chapter, I’m excited to continue our friendship, to raise a glass to future celebrations, and to share in the vibrant joys life has in store.
